ICONE

    Neutron Detectors

Neutron detectors are essential devices within the ICONE facility. They are used to measure and analyze neutrons after their interaction with the studied samples, converting the detected signals into usable data for scientific experiments.

These detectors are designed to provide high sensitivity, excellent spatial and temporal resolution, as well as high counting performance. They enable accurate monitoring of neutron scattering, diffraction and imaging experiments.

Integrated into the different beamlines, detectors play a key role in the quality of scientific measurements. They directly contribute to the overall performance of the instruments and to the reliability of the results obtained for research in materials science, physics and applied sciences.

Neutron detectors provide the essential interface between neutron–matter interactions and scientific analysis, ensuring accurate, fast measurements adapted to the requirements of modern experiments.
