Neutron Polarizers

Neutron polarizers are devices used at the ICONE facility to orient the spin of neutrons in a defined direction. This beam polarization provides additional information about the magnetic properties of materials.

By selecting a specific spin state, polarizers enhance the sensitivity of neutron scattering and diffraction experiments, particularly for the study of magnetic structures, spintronic materials and complex systems.

Integrated into beamlines, these components play a key role in advanced condensed matter physics experiments. They enable researchers to explore magnetic interactions at the atomic scale with high precision.
